Q What is a "session"?
A session is a medical record of a patient's state just before or as they medicate compared to their state and emotive effect after an on-set period. The on-set period is based on the chosen ingestion method (eg. 20 minutes for smoke/vape or 1 hour for edibles). A session is only complete after all data is input. Patients must complete their last session before starting a new one. Incomplete (stale) sessions are purged after 36 hours.
Q How is Strainprint Data Collected?
Strainprint data is collected in real time from patients using the Strainprint digital cannabis journal (outcomes-tracker mobile app), which is available for free on Android and Apple devices.
Q How does Strainprint prevent "gaming" and protect validity of the data?
Strainprint has over 20 data algorithms that analyze the data set in real time to eliminate gaming and inappropriate tracking behaviour that would skew results. For example, we gauge annonymous behavioral cues and trends to assess validity of treatment regimens - based on overall sample group behavior. These are smart learning adaptive filtering algorithms. If any one of these data policies is triggered, then the record is removed from the dataset.
